VEGOS

Vegan New Mexican Cuisine

Vegos is closed week April 21-27
We will reopen at our new location May 1st

We're Moving to
2904 Indian School Rd. NE

We’re excited to announce the merger of Vegos and Nobody Calls Me Chicken. It’s true we weren’t planning on bringing the two menus back together again after splitting them up 7 months ago, but we’ve learned a lot since then. This was not an easy decision to make but after weighing some pros and cons we are all in on this one and we really think it will allow us to elevate Vegos in a way we just haven’t been able to in the past.

Here’s some background info we wanted to share that went into our decision making. The truth is that our lease is coming to an end at the Carlisle address, and there isn’t any other home we’ve found that made much sense for Vegos. We do know that we don’t want to keep Vegos in its current location, and so the thought came about, what if we merged the menus back together again?

Another factor that played a big role in our decision making is that we are going to be parents this summer! As we prepare to embark on this amazing journey, we know bringing a baby into this world will require a lot of our attention, and trying to raise a family and run two restaurants just didn’t seem fair to anyone, especially our amazing teams.

We have been blessed to be surrounded by some amazing folks and we’re excited to join not just the stores, but our staff as well. With so much talent all under one roof, we can’t express how excited we are to move Vegos into its new home and onto its next phase of growth. We are currently hiring also, so send us your resume if you’re interested in joining our team!

The current plan is to debut the new (not so new) store May 1st 2024.This May also marks our five year anniversary! Wow! We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!

Stay tuned and from all of us at Vegos, we thank you!

Our Story

OUR PASSION FOR

VEGAN CUISINE

Vegos owners

hen owners Elizabeth and Jonathan started exploring a Vegan diet, they searched in the market for the items and dishes that they grew up on like burritos, enchiladas, tamales, sopapillas etc... When they didn't see what they were looking for they knew instantly what type of eatery they would create. A vision of Vegan New Mexican cuisine with quality, speed and great customer service was born. It is the passion of Vegos to show our community that the dishes we grew up eating can still be  enjoyed on a fully plant-based diet.
